Hi, everyone!
So, I’ve been a little behind on posting- crazy given that everyone has to stay at home and you’d think we have more time to blog! But between working from home, homeschooling my kids, completing my own courses, and my dog getting an ear infection, I’ve been a little distracted, And, honestly, I’ve been finding it a little more challenging to stay motivated lately. Anyone else feel that way?
Having said that, I have still been sewing.
I recently made the Dunagrees jumpsuit by Tilly and the Buttons. I wasn’t sure what to expect because I didn’t think I could pull it off. I’ve always liked this style of jumpsuit but never liked how they looked on me. But I decided to just make it and see what happens. I’m really glad I did because I love it! I actually like the Dunagrees more than the trousers (Made in a previous post)!

They were also pretty easy to sew. The book says total time to make the jumpsuit should be 3 hours. I took about 4. But, maybe I’m just slow.

The only thing I wish I did differently was to make a different size for the top pieces and the bottom pieces because the top fits perfectly but it’s a little tight getting the bottom part over my hips (and I’m not even particularly shapely). So, I’d definitely recommend double checking the sizing before choosing a size.
Overall, I’m really happy with my first two Tilly and the Buttons patterns. They’re both easy to make and very comfortable! Let me know what you’ve been working on or if you have a favourite jumpsuit pattern.
Thanks for reading and stay safe!

That is fantastic! Great color!
