First, I need to say- What. The. Heck!
This week has been crazy! I actually had the flu last week. And now this week, is when everything really started to shut down where I live. I work in adult education (basically, I’m a TA- I manage an academic help centre). We remained open until today but it has been VERY quiet because no students were coming in (understandably)…and then the power went out for the entire campus! And now, we have to figure out a way to work from home (including tutoring). My point is, I feel SO mixed up! I don’t even know what day it is!
So, I decided to go back to focusing on positive things again (and STOP looking at my FB feed for now- it’s ALL Covid-related). Which is the reason for this post- I wanted to share something positive a.k.a something I made recently. It’s comfy and pretty and I love it! It’s this Burda skirt!

It was SO easy. And who doesn’t love a red skirt!

We’re all in this together! Stay safe and let me know what you’ve been working on or plan to work on!
Thanks for reading and happy sewing!
I totally understand your sentiments. Everything on my feed has been about COVID as well. I look for images of someone’s new make. I love the skirt. I’ve never been a fan of red on me, but it looks great on you!
